It provides a comprehensive approach to puppy development, focusing on raising a well-adjusted social companion rather than just teaching obedience. Learners will gain an understanding of:Puppy Biology & Biology-Based Management: Insights into developmental stages, essential sleep requirements, breed-based behaviours and physical growth needs to support healthy brain and body development.
Behavioural Foundations: How to identify and address sensory "bottlenecks" that cause common behavioural issues like excessive biting, reactivity, and physical clumsiness.
Environmental & Social Support: Strategies for effective puppy-proofing, teaching bite inhibition, and managing sensory input to prevent fear or overstimulation.
Social Literacy: Mastering canine social dynamics, including the importance of respecting spatial zones, deconstructing common misconceptions about "friendly" over-greeting, and the role of the guardian in advocating for their dog to build a secure, long-term relationship.
